I should write about it earlier,
but I'm kindda lazy recently.
so, as what i've mentioned in my title,
This is my very first backpacking and solo trip.
Although i didn't went oversea,
but i think borneo island is far enough for me as a first timer.
I'm very proud to say,
I went traveling with only one small bag and a camera bag!
cool right?
Its really lonely to travel alone,
especially for the first day.
walking alone in the city,
but hay,
at least i have my phone with data plan which keeps me connected to my friends :)
But the story changed during my second day.
I bought a trip to Gunung Ganding for the Raffasia,
and i befriended 2 Scottish, 2 Germans, 2 Swiss people and 1 Czech girl.
I'm the youngest among all and i'm also the only asian in this trip!
This is the first time feeling so 'international'
We enjoyed the trip together and also,
we are really lucky to have 5 Raffasia blooming at the same time!
One thing i feel really regret is i didn't ask for their email.
I went to the Sarawak Culture Village during my last day of visit.
I have some talk with 3 Londoners during the ride to SCV.
It's a very beautiful place there.
Surprisingly, I met up with Anna and Lottie (2 Scottish girl) before i went back from SCV!
OMG! the world is so small!
i asked for their email address and say farewell to them.
I forgot to take a group photo with them!
GREAT!
Anyway, after i finished my dinner in the city,
walking back to my hotel,
I met Anna and Lottie again in Kuching Waterfront!
I joined them for dinner and we have a nice chat.
after the dinner, on my way back,
i suddenly realise that i didn't take a group photo with them again!
immediately, i ran back to the place we met.
I managed to catch up with them,
but i looked like a weirdo.
haha!
Oh, yea, i have to mention my host in Kuching,
Gabriel.
This is the first time surfing with someone i don't know.
and although he joined CS for awhile,
but i'm his first surfer!
I must be insane to accept his couch invitation,
as he have no comment from other surfer.
it's kindda dangerous.
But lucky for me,
he is a nice guy.
He bring me around for breakfast and treat me well.
Although he couldn't give me a tour around the city,
but thats a lot for me,
Thanks!
