I'm gonna blog about my second trip to Europe here,
Yeah, second!
Didn't expect to go Europe twice a year,
but hey, it's my sister's graduation!
to be honest, this is not a backpacking trip,
I spend most of my traveling time with my sister,
and it's so different from my last trip!
I usually had sandwich or pizza to fill up my tummy last time,
but my sister insist to have a proper meal,
cost me a lot, but luckily my dad is paying for the accommodations this time!
thanks dad! :)
I'd say this is more to family trip.
it's so nice to have someone taking photos for me and accompany me along the journey.
And my mum joined us during our last week in France!
woohoo! nothing is better then to have a patron traveling with you in Europe!
A totally different experience in Europe.
what can I say more? I'm so grateful for everything!

my sis brought me here, a place where graffiti is legal, ok, so we pretended to be punk, but seriously, we are born to be bookworms, and we were frightened like a nerd when there's some random punk passing by!

a day trip to Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge. nice trip, but spend most of our time in the bus traveling.

Daniel, a Singaporean I met during my trip

Northern Ireland looks a lot like New Zealand

and look at those cows! they are living in heaven!

Glasgow, I'm here for my sister's graduation,
time flies huh?
couldn't imagine,
I was thinking about my university life soon when i walk around her university,
I'm so excited about mine,
so many unknown ahead of me

the University of Glasgow

and we went to the pub the night before graduation! But we didn't drink. We were just looking for dinner.

we join a two days tour to the Scottish Highlands the day after my sister's graduation.
We were a bit late by the time we found the bus ( actually we were lost)
and the bus was almost full,
we have to seat separately.
I'm sitting with a gang of Khmer, don't like it. they were always late and we I have to wait for them before getting into the mini bus.

Edinburgh!

Edinburgh Castle, the most beautiful castle I've visited in Europe!

the seagull doesn't seems to be afraid of people

there was this mysterious Bentley without number plate in Holyrood Palace, some royal family members must be in there.

Nice! wonderful place!
I love the weather, I love the Sea, I love this city!
and they are having beach party when we were there,
party music, sexy girls, this is awesome!
one thing that impress me is the ocean is crystal clear!
this is a big city, how they manage to make it?
feel so sorry about the ocean in Penang.
Come on Penangite, wake up and stop throwing littering around

and we bump into le Tour de France!

Went to this little village in Provence,
not gonna mention the village name here (keep the tourist away)
It's a very small village surrounded by lavender field

as I said, beautiful place

Went to Camden town with my sister, and found this big horse head with huge nose. Haha! I just have to do that!
Buckingham Palace, well every tourist have to do this I guess.

Went to Belfast for the Giant's causeway trip.
Well, I have to say, it's a very nervous trip!
I bought the trip two days earlier and didn't realise that the trip is going to end at 7.30pm and I have a plane to catch at 9pm!
I drop my luggage in the tourism office (which I shouldn't because the bus driver can drop me off some where near to the airport instead of driving me back Belfast again)
We set off happily and things went wrong after I realise I might not be able to catch the flight!
Tried my best not to think of it but it keep on bothering me.
Couldn't really enjoy at first, but i then told myself what's done is already done,
and I have to enjoy the rest of the day!
I like the giant's causeway a lot!
I was dreaming about the great ocean road before this trip ( not realising the giant's causeway is so amazing)
and I'm really impressed!
somehow I figure out I'm an ocean lover!
I don't know why, I simply enjoy the feeling of looking into the far horizon!
enjoyed the day!
So I arrived Belfast around 7.30pm,
I have to make it to the airport! I must!
I rushed over to collect my backpack and catch a taxi to the airport.
And I have only the right money to the airport! (phew!)
luckily I made it in time.
what a day!

drop by Paris before going to southern France.
Picking up my mum from the airport.
Spent my whole day in Pompidou.
I'm not a person of art, damn boring.

chilling out
as I said, beautiful place

Rent a bike on the second day here,
enjoyed cycling around the fields
because this place is so small, we face a lot of problem getting in and out fro this village!
we took a public bus to capentra and was told that the bus to this village is not running today!
have to take a taxi, cost us 80 euro!
that's just not it,
we waited for an hour for the bus to leave this village and end up wasting our time (cause the bus is not coming)
look for a taxi and there's no taxi here in this village!
phoned the taxi company and they doesn't speak English, but we manage to book a taxi out from this village.
waited another four hours before we get into the taxi.
seriously, we should hire a car next time if we are traveling to small places like this.
we are just in time for Festival d'Avignon!
we were here a few days before and it's so different when we are back again!
