Flashback!

Dear dear~ Its already the final half an hour before 2014 and I've just started to blog!

So what to blog about? Well, 2013 is really a good year to me, perhaps one of the most meaningful year in my life! Lets go through my timeline!

January: I've just came back from my Hong Kong trip with my family and STPM is over! I'm enjoying every moment of my life!

February: So I went to Sarawak, and this is my first phrase of my backpacking experience! being host by a local Chinese Sarawakien and met two friends from Sweden!

March: Went to Beijing with my mum in early March, first time traveling alone with my mum, and I'm the guide! It's freezing cold over there, too bad the snow was melting.
I went to Cambodia during mid March, alone! this is my second phrase of my backpacking trip, and also first time traveling abroad alone! backpack with two foreign friends, one from Canada and one from France. STPM result was released during my last day in Cambodia. I was so nervous! I received a few message congratulating me before I gain internet access to check my result. I got 4As! although not 4 solid As, but I was so happy! This is like a miracle! I cycle with a ranted bike with joy to Angkor Wat again(half an hour away from my hotel), just for the sake of my merryness! That moment is so special, my whole cycling journey is covered by my overwhelming joy, and I'll never forget!

是时候跟朋友们说再见了。

离开槟城前的最后一个星期一直忙着搞徐别会，跟班上朋友道别，跟UTB2说再见。

最难忘的应该还是UTB2吧。在嘉萍离开槟城的前一天，咱都聚在一起，为了这个徐别会，我也特地把一些纪念性的照片都洗了出来，让大家带着上大学。

老实说我真的不舍得UTB2，尤其是贤庭，平时都一起上学，站岗，搞活动，一起走过来的也实在太多了。

Countdown: 8 days before university

Day 8

I went to the club last night, it's my first time partying but I only had one or two glasses of alcohol because I was driving last night. Not a pleasant experience.

It's really hard for me to get up early, but I managed to join my family for an early jog in the Botanical Garden. Well, I cant afford to miss this once in a blue moon family day, especially when all six of us are here in Penang.

Had our family brunch together at 'New Zealand' cafe. I don't like this place when was a kid, I used to get angry when I know we are going to have our breakfast here because all I wanted is MacD. But things change as time goes by. Now I've learnt  how to appreciate the good food here because I think it's impossible to have such good food in my university!

Managed to meet up again for an English hi-tea at E&O 1885 restaurant. Well, we wanted to have our hi-tea at China House, but we can't get a place for six and there's no place for us to stand and wait. Although we have to wait for another half an hour to be seated at E&O, we were just too lazy to find another restaurant again.


Guys, if you ever plan to have an English hi-tea there, please be prepared to pay. We were told that sharing is not allow and we have to order six sets for each of us. Ouch! But you get what you pay for. Satisfying!

We paid our grandmother-in-law a visit after our hi-tea. I miss her a lot but I seldom visit her. Felt so guilty for not paying her visit often enough. I'm entering university very soon, I'll miss you. Stay healthy and all the best, I'll visit you whenever I can.

What's next? I'm meeting up with the Untahanable for a farewell dinner! And guess what, Piang, Saw, TW, TY and Jenn is joining us tonight! It's been awhile since we last meet, updated each other with our recent life and talked a lot about our university life soon. We are such a big crowd for a small place like this

Went to Esplanade for our second round, it's not really an ideal place for us to chat. Well, I didn't feel the feeling of separation yet, maybe it's too early, perhaps the feeling of separation will be stronger if we have our farewell on the last few days before university or the day before someone is actually leaving. 

After saying farewell to Piang them, four of us (HT, CP, YL and I) went for a late supper at Abu. Talked about friendship and love. I was really impressed and admire how CP dedicated her love to her boyfriend.  I wish that the others from UTB2 can make it tonight, or perhaps we should have another private farewell together with UTB2. We still have time, let's not waste it!

 Enjoyed my day although it's really tiring. Thanks for the day guys!

Countdown: 11th and 10th day before university

I'm finally back again! Gonna blog about my Cameron trip with the UTBs. Can I call it graduation trip? since we are all schoolmate and we are still in our graduation holiday~

Day 11 before university

As I mentioned in my previous blog, we were hanging out together until late night before the trip, so I didn't sleep very well (and HT didn't even sleep at all!). It's cool that the van came to my home to pick me up, so I can sleep longer then the others! thank you guys for tolerating :). As usual, had some small talks during the ride to Cameron. It took us five hours to Cameron Highlands and our first stop: 

 A random plantation in the entrance of Cameron Highlands. The weather is not as cold as we expected.

OH Cameron, it's all about strawberries. Strawberry chocolate, dry strawberry, strawberry ice cream, jam, juice, you name it.

Lavender Garden (where HT used to mention before the trip but had totally forgotten about it and I have to remind them about it). Well, the lavender here is different from what I saw in France, perhaps a different type?

Countdown: 12 days before university

Day 12

What a restless day! Meet up with PY to settle something together. I never think that I'll bump into anyone there as I plan to leave once I've collected my cert in MBS, and guess what? I was there when they finish their school! Never mind about that. After done paying our university fee, we had Blackball together. It must be my lunch that make me so sick, stomach ache! Didn't really enjoy the dessert at all. I don't usually use public toilet, but what can I do? Luckily the toilet is clean. Ugh, so humiliating!

Went out together with UTB2 again, I'm actually quite lazy, we are going to spend two days together soon, do we have to meet up? But it's still nice to see them, or else it's gonna be me and my books again. Spent my evening discussing about the trip tomorrow, Oh! I haven't pack!

My seventh trip after STPM! Although this is going to be a short trip and I'm not travelling far, but yea, stay tune, I'll blog about it when I'm back :)

SO MANY THINGS TO DO BEFORE UNIVERSITY!
-photostat documents for university and PTPTN, and get them verified my the government
-buy groceries, electrical appliances, bed sheet for university
-buy stem hasil
-renew my driving license
-pack for university
-farewell with friends

so many things yet to be done, and I only have 10 days left (excluding my Cameron trip tmr)

Countdown: 17 days before university

Day 17

Meeting up with my old buddies again.
meet ZY, WZ, FK & Jack, yea, all guys.
I just figure out that my high school life is so out of balance! I don't usually hangout with girls during those days. Anyway, those boys are still so childish, and I think I might be as childish as they are when I enter form 6, people must think I'm crazy!
Watched the Unbeatable. I have been waiting for this movie for so long! and WOW! GREAT movie I have to say! Look at their muscles, how they fight, how they train! It somehow motivated me to train harder in the gym! I have to get one of those posters in my room when I enter university, keep me motivated! hehe
It's very sad to say that I can't quite fit in to their conversations anymore. They are still working very hard in the drama society, but well, I quited drama since form 6. So, yea. I don't feel like part of the gang anymore. But hay, this friendship is still worth keeping, we've been through so many things together anyway!

Went out with the UTB2 again after dinner.
What a night! HT over slept, over shoot while picking up Imn, YL's phone went dead when we arrived Sampson's place, but six of us managed to meet up at LK Western that night.
Had a long chat, they are talking about boyfriends, sleepovers and so on, well, I kept quiet most of the time, because I don't have a girlfriend, but somehow I feel lucky because I'm still free from all those responsibility and tolerance.
Great night, I have to say. Six people is just nice.

My Hari Raya With UTB2

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!

I've been locking myself in my room for days,

I can see the laziness in me has developed into a critical situation and I need a day out!

so I'm actually the person who asked my friend out in the first place,

but I turn out to be the guy who almost didn't show up because of pure laziness.

Anyway, here I'm, 9am in this wonderful holiday, sitting here in MacD waiting for my friends.

they didn't show up, I couldn't wait anymore and I don't want to have MacD's muffin as breakfast.

Come on, not today. I wanted to find something so healthy that I ended up with Ham Jim Peng (which is not healthy at all) because I've wasted too much of my time looking around!

First stop, Penang Hill!

I feel ashamed to tell you that, I've never really been to Penang Hill!

anyway, I made it today.

to my surprise, we actually got a better cable car then Hong Kong's The Peak!

well, it's a cloudy day, and the peak is covered with mist, so we didn't really get a great view of Penang.

But i believe that It's going to be beautiful up here if the day is great.

20th Birthday

 Celebrating my 20th birthday with the UTB2.

Didn't celebrate during the actual day because I'm with my family.

What can I say,
I was late for the BBQ party actually (sorry),
arrived there around 9 something,
I was a little bit defensive that night,
don't want to be fooled by them,
I guest I'm over protective.

here is how it goes:
Hean Tee asked me out earlier and he changed the time from 7 to 8pm that day.
I arrived home around 6 something and waited for his call.
He didn't reply me until 8 something,
and I'm actually very hungry and had taken my dinner by the time he replied.
I thought he is gonna cancel the celebration (he told me only PL and SY can make it, pretty hard to believe huh?)!

okey, so I drove to paradise and I didn't pick up PL's phone call,
purposely.(I'm driving that time)
Who knows what will he come up with, his words are very convincing sometimes.

Okey, didn't expect there's gonna be a BBQ party,
nice surprise, and I do appreciate it.
Always wanted to have a BBQ party there ever since the last time (which I guess it's almost one or two years ago)

and I suddenly realise HT and CP were gone and they came out with this, my birthday cake from Jenny's cake house.

PS: I still don't get it why all of you greet me happy birthday on the 22th instead of 21th. All I can come up with is you guys pakat. But what for? LOL

My 19th Birthday

Hi all!

This is my first year celebrating my birthday with friends in my actual birthday.

Well, my sisters are busy, they are having event in school, so...

I have to enjoy my day anyway.

So I went to gurney with my elder sister during my birthday eve.

She bought me a belt, which cost around RM150 as my birthday present.

Then we had some drink at euro deli.

First time having 2 pint of German beer outside.

Receive some calls from my classmate and wishes from my friends,

(Some could not reach me, I apologize for that, I have some problem with my phone)

Birthday

My elder sister and me again, went for a heritage walk in the downtown.

It's saturday morning, and downtown is crowded.

Took some nice photos, and I look fit on that shirt :)

Lunch time!

My parents joined me for dinner at Maple Palace.

Well, we arrived there before our parents did,

And we had a hard time placing the order.

I mean everything is like sooo expensive here!

We ordered 4 shark fin soup, which cost RM280!!

Actually, my mum change most of the order after she arrived.

Well, she thinks that we deserve more :)

So, after my lunch, my sis dropped me at Gurney to join my friends.

I was shock when I saw them,

Wow, so elegant?

I'm like wearing a t-shirt and shorts!

We loitered around before the movie start,

And finally - the dark knight rises!

A movie, which I'm looking forward for!

I was actually scared during the movie,

Because of the terrorist attack during the premiere screening at the USA.

But anyway, nothing happen :)

My friends said it’s boring,

But NO!

I like it!

Meaningful!

We loitered around again and ken & Wei th'ng saw a HK star shopping around!

Although I'm not a fan of her,

We followed her around and finally,

Ken asked for permission to take photo with her,

Too bad she refused.

We went to harvest inn afterward.

Waited for half an hour after we arrived.

I never imagine that it's soo crowded here!

And surprisingly, Yi Lynn, Saw and Max attend my party :)

Actually it’s expected, except for Max's attendance.

Although I've invited all untahanable member,

But not everyone turn up,

Sad.

Purposely brought RM500 in case.

Anyway, I had a wonderful time with everyone that night :)

So the dinner cost me RM300.

But everyone enjoy it :)

First time in my life to throw myself a birthday party,

And highest record of my life for treating RM300.

After that, we were lost,

I wanted to go paradise,

But seems like not everyone wanted.

So sad.

Finally, went to paragon.

It's a hot day,

Keep sweating,

We can't even feel the sea breeze at the seaside.

Chat for a while and go Euro Deli again for beer.

My treat!

Spend RM30 for 3 pint of beer.

Chit chats for a while and shared my video.

Too bad the environment is noisy,

After that, we went to G-hotel and continue our talk at its lobby.

Air-cond!

Well, that's my last stop.

Arrived home at 2 :)

Relay For Life 2012

Hi all,

I'm back again!

its a busy saturday,

and I'm totally satisfied.

Gonna tell grandmother story here :)

lets start from morning.

woke up 6 in the morning and went school to take report card with my mum at 8

after that i went to gym for workout.

had some rest during the noon and here comes the interesting part.

its time for Relay For Life! :)

well, walked with my friends and feel like im really doing something for those cancer patients.

although few of my classmate keep shooting me...

i dont understand why they like to do that-- annoying

took photos here and there.

i have to say,

i miss the feeling last year.

we are not in a big group anymore.

remember how high we were last year?

but anyway,

i enjoy it.

after that,

we went to wei th'ng's church for BBQ party.

we should be going Paradise,

but they changed the venue last minute due to the tsunami alert.

feel so warm there,

they keep serving us with good food,

all we need to do is EAT!!

so its still early,

we went to Pentagon because we have an extra hour before our movie.

had Moo Cow there,

Yee Liang and Mun Imn played with the fountain water...

the clock stop ticking,

as if we were younger,

and you can feel the bond between us growing stronger every minute!

Went to Tai Pak Kong temple,

quiet and nice place.

we set on the rock and talk,

but unfortunately, 

dog intrudes out happy moment,

and we have to leave :(

looked for a few places during the night,

but non were suitable.

finally, we went Chew Jetty.

have some chatting there until four something in the morning.

Went to Sunrise MacD cause Yee Liang wanted to eat the breakfast.

after a few hours of rest,

i finally get my chance to go Paradise beach!

well, my main purpose is photo shooting,

 but i met a girl from China and we talked for the whole morning...

OOPS!

introduced her some local food and places worth visiting.

i like doing that,

because i'm proud of Penang! :)

originally,

 i wanted to bring her along,

but too bad i dont have an extra space in my car,

i'm fetching 7 friends down! OMG!!!

because of the long chat with the girl,
and i deliberately abandon my friends,
i agreed to treat them breakfast :(

went to 点心之家and spent RM40.

finally, we ended our restless outing.
sent yee liang home,

you know where i go after that?

i went to ford cornwallis hoping to meet that girl there.

dont get me wrong,

i'm not going after her,

i just wanted to show her around,

i like giving tour to traveller,

and this is not my first time :)

walked around for an hour and finally,

i gave up.
