Flashback!

Dear dear~ Its already the final half an hour before 2014 and I've just started to blog!

So what to blog about? Well, 2013 is really a good year to me, perhaps one of the most meaningful year in my life! Lets go through my timeline!

January: I've just came back from my Hong Kong trip with my family and STPM is over! I'm enjoying every moment of my life!

February: So I went to Sarawak, and this is my first phrase of my backpacking experience! being host by a local Chinese Sarawakien and met two friends from Sweden!

March: Went to Beijing with my mum in early March, first time traveling alone with my mum, and I'm the guide! It's freezing cold over there, too bad the snow was melting.
I went to Cambodia during mid March, alone! this is my second phrase of my backpacking trip, and also first time traveling abroad alone! backpack with two foreign friends, one from Canada and one from France. STPM result was released during my last day in Cambodia. I was so nervous! I received a few message congratulating me before I gain internet access to check my result. I got 4As! although not 4 solid As, but I was so happy! This is like a miracle! I cycle with a ranted bike with joy to Angkor Wat again(half an hour away from my hotel), just for the sake of my merryness! That moment is so special, my whole cycling journey is covered by my overwhelming joy, and I'll never forget!

Countdown: 8 days before university

Day 8

I went to the club last night, it's my first time partying but I only had one or two glasses of alcohol because I was driving last night. Not a pleasant experience.

It's really hard for me to get up early, but I managed to join my family for an early jog in the Botanical Garden. Well, I cant afford to miss this once in a blue moon family day, especially when all six of us are here in Penang.

Had our family brunch together at 'New Zealand' cafe. I don't like this place when was a kid, I used to get angry when I know we are going to have our breakfast here because all I wanted is MacD. But things change as time goes by. Now I've learnt  how to appreciate the good food here because I think it's impossible to have such good food in my university!

Managed to meet up again for an English hi-tea at E&O 1885 restaurant. Well, we wanted to have our hi-tea at China House, but we can't get a place for six and there's no place for us to stand and wait. Although we have to wait for another half an hour to be seated at E&O, we were just too lazy to find another restaurant again.


Guys, if you ever plan to have an English hi-tea there, please be prepared to pay. We were told that sharing is not allow and we have to order six sets for each of us. Ouch! But you get what you pay for. Satisfying!

We paid our grandmother-in-law a visit after our hi-tea. I miss her a lot but I seldom visit her. Felt so guilty for not paying her visit often enough. I'm entering university very soon, I'll miss you. Stay healthy and all the best, I'll visit you whenever I can.

What's next? I'm meeting up with the Untahanable for a farewell dinner! And guess what, Piang, Saw, TW, TY and Jenn is joining us tonight! It's been awhile since we last meet, updated each other with our recent life and talked a lot about our university life soon. We are such a big crowd for a small place like this

Went to Esplanade for our second round, it's not really an ideal place for us to chat. Well, I didn't feel the feeling of separation yet, maybe it's too early, perhaps the feeling of separation will be stronger if we have our farewell on the last few days before university or the day before someone is actually leaving. 

After saying farewell to Piang them, four of us (HT, CP, YL and I) went for a late supper at Abu. Talked about friendship and love. I was really impressed and admire how CP dedicated her love to her boyfriend.  I wish that the others from UTB2 can make it tonight, or perhaps we should have another private farewell together with UTB2. We still have time, let's not waste it!

 Enjoyed my day although it's really tiring. Thanks for the day guys!

Rover's farewell 2012

Finally,

gonna blog about the last and final event of MBS rover.

if u did follow up my blog recently,

i did mention about having trouble organising it.

although i'm no more a committee.

well, once a TL, always a TL.

so it all happened last wednesday.

after school, i received a phone call from our 'dear' Pn. Analiza,

asking me to inform all members that the farewell had been postponed.

WOW!

i mean like, how am i going to do it?

its a public holiday Thursday and Friday is our farewell!

actually, even i have all my member's phone number,

but asking me to spend that money texting them doing something i don't want?

for my member's sake, for my own sake!

no way, i'm not going to do it!

her excuse was our HM does not allow us to use so much money on farewell,

but she agreed to spent RM3000 earlier for our farewell!

the first thing it came to my mind was she can't make it that day,

so she came up with some stupid yet annoying plan to stop us from eating.

so i phoned Wei Keat, our ASM to discuss,

but badly, i can't reach him.

i was studying actually.

but after i received her call,

i can't focus anymore.

so i get Mr Gan, out HM's phone number from PL,

and i negotiated with him.

talk for quite some time,

the told me his main reason has something to do with brotherhood.

but finally he agreed to give us RM2000 for the farewell.

but that is way not enough to cover our cost.

received a call from her that night,

she asked me to go school the next day,

she is passing all Rover's money to HM.

she don't want to take care about it anymore.

HAHAHA!

you kidding me?

i'm not going to play along with you.

so Chee Chau, the new troop leader meet up with her the next morning.

they discussed but did not solve the problem.

HM's did offer a term for us.

if we can get the brotherhood's approval,

we can take an extra RM1000 out.

so i tried to contact Wei Keat to seek for help.

but before i could reach the brotherhood,

Pn. Anliza phoned them and told them about the problem.

and she does not support or encourage the brotherhood to approve our request.

Damn!

i tried to called Richard, but he was in a meeting,

and seems to be hiding me from my phone call.

but finally the brotherhood get back to Pn. Analiza,

and told her that she can make the decision.

and finally after all these mess that she had created,

she approved.

well, Chee Chau did his job here.

so i meet up with Hean Tee, Wei Th'ng and Chia Ping Friday morning,

and happily departed to Hotel Equatorial.

we were early.

even earlier then juniors.

but anyway, we are here for food.

so i don't care.

and as expected,

Pn. Analiza did not make it.

smart guess huh?

she is such an idiot!

created all the problem just because she can't make it,

and don't want us to enjoy without her.

selfish!

anyway,

had a lot of food,

got to replace my anger with the club's money!

enjoyed the day without her.

we went to Queensbay.

actually i don't want to go,

but since everyone is going.

have to follow majority.

watched imperfection.

its a good movie,

but i'm annoyed with all the fighting.

well, the movie is about gangster's life.

can't imagine how they live with all those fighting.

don't like it at all.

bought Taylor Swift's latest album too :)

well, this is the last about rovers in my high school life i guess.

i enjoy the time spent with my friends here.

just too bad we have such a troublesome teacher.

Rover's AGM

Finally, i have to say.

it's a relive to me,

freedom from all my responsibilities and duties as a troop leader in MBS rover crew.

let me summarise a few highlight events throughout the year.

the camp was tiring and exhausting,

but yet, it's something to be remembered.

it went out smoothly but one disappointment, as the revenue of this event is unsatisfying,

because of the time given for preparation is short :(

i was elected to be the troop leader of MBS rover's crew.

this is my first big event after i've been appointed as the troop leader.

it went out smoothly, but we had a quarrel at the end of the camp,

which was very sad.

and it took a long time to heal.

had so much thought during that day.

after everything i've been through,

joy, anger and sadness.

i really appreciate all those memories.

oh, and another event is coming up,

which is MBS rover's 2012 farewell.

u know what, while i'm writing this post,

i received a call from Pn. Analiza.

she want me to postpone the farewell which is going to take place this friday,

and it's already Wednesday, and tomorrow is a public holiday,

how can i postpone it?

don't i deserve a rest after my retirement?

UGH!

TL's day

i have been grounded for a month,

and finally i gain my freedom back!

this is a tiring yet a wonderful day :)

let's start with the long waited movie-- resident evil!

i have to say, if you are an action lover,

this movie is a must!

i like 李冰冰!

she is god damn hot and sexy!

Yesterday is Yi Lynn's birthday,

sadly, it's an exam day,

so i dint help her celebrate.

but i still have to make it up for her

it was almost 1230 when i drop Yi Lynn back.

PCGHS Campfire

Well, my rovers crew was invited to PCGHS campfire on 21 April.

So again, after one week rest to recover ourself from gathering illness,
We have to stay back again everyday!

I feel kinda guilty when I promise my team member that we don't need to stay back everyday,
But eventually, we did.

We prepared for this campfire for 2 weeks, with 2 songs, 2 dances and a sketch.

Of course, I was the director (as usual) hehe

But guess what!
Two weeks of hardworking paid off,
We won the best sketch prize and the overall champion of the night!

The moment when they hand over the best overall prize is unforgettable!

And I broke their stage when I march to receive my best sketch prize. Hehe

Busy March

It's been awhile now, but I'm too busy to blog.
So what have I done recently?

My rovers crew hosted a gathering on 31 march,
And I spend almost the whole months preparing for this event.

Stay back during school days were like a daily routine to me,
Arrive home at 5 or 6 in the noon...
You know, life isn't easy at all!

Of course, the event was a success,
And I'm very proud of my crew :)

Wow!
It's been a taught week for me!

I stayed back almost everyday until 6pm after school,
And went to activity at night.

Monday.
After stayed back, I went to gym.

Tuesday.
After I stayed back I went to gurney to buy some grocery.

Wednesday.
After I stayed back I went to fencing, and after that I meet my friend in Egate.

Thursday.
After I stayed back I went for Harry potter.

Friday.
After I stayed back I went for my class gathering and after that, I went to shu hong's house for meeting.
After settling our sketch, we went to tesco to buy some things.
Then we went back to shu yong's home.

We stayed up all night talking and having fun.
Our pl, chee way even share with us his first love story!
So sweet!
We eat and work and talk.
I feel like I had found my group of best friend!

5 in the morning, I went back to my home to take a bath and rush out to my school again.
We started our work.
Tying our gadget.
Although it's frustrating and our petrol's gadget is not that tight,
I still think we can make through this.

But I feel so bad when it comes to the modern cooking contest section.
I can't light up the fire!
I was so stress!
Everyone surrounding the kitchen,
Watching at me.
3 matches were used and the fire haven't been set.
I saw my advisor.
Both of them were disappointed.
I feel so s so bad!!!

Our food were delicious.
Every senior enjoys it.
But I ruined up.
Because I can't light up the fire.

After that is the station game section.
I tried to cheer my self up,
Knowing if I keep my self down,
It won't help.

We won most of the game.
But they make us dirty.

God!
After the station game,
We rush to bath.

Shit!
No water for us!
We have to bath beside the drain using the horse water.
What kind of school Is this!
I can't even wash my little brother!

Camp night.
I feel so stress!

I must win!
Because if not, my reputation is ruined.

I was surprise!
My petrol perform extremely good!
The audience was cheering and laughing,
After our performance,
We feel like winning already!
So high!
Keep shouting and cheering!
Rage one number one!!!

After camp night,
We went for supper.
We enjoyed chatting and eating,
Spending time together.

We were like best friends forever already.
We know each other not more that a month,
But our bond of friendship were like more then a year!
This one week makes us feel like we were together for a year already.

After supper,
I went home first to take a bath.
I nearly hit someone as I was too tired to drive and I can't focus at all.
Luckily I went home safely.

After a short rest and bath,
It was 1 in the morning.
Before I depart,
I phone those who stayed back, but no one answer.
I feel like they were asleep.
At last, my pl answer my phone and they were really asleep.

I have a rest that night in my own bed.

Sunday morning.
Chiu yee woke me up.
It was 7 in the morning and I was late!
I wash my face immediately and depart.

I reached school at 7.14 am
And I know I was in trouble.
I went to my petrol and they looks mad.
Shit.
But my pl told me they was just frustrated.
Haiz. Feel so bad.
I went to take attendance and the committee asked me to help them tidy up.

After Tying some gadget,
It was time for backwoods cooking.
I was to stressed.
Again!
I carry the burden to light up the fire.
First matches.
Failed.
The second matches,
I waited.
Waiting for time and wind.
One of the assistant scout master helped me to set up my woods and leaf.
I feel like I should try.
I slowly light up my matches and light up the leaf.
I was shacking.
Please light up, please!
And a blaze of fame started to grow.
Yes! Yes! Yes!
I was so happy!

We enjoyed cooking.
We sing, we drink, and the most interesting part is,
Shu yong was feeding us watermelon!
Woohoo!

Our advisor warn us about the time,
I knew we were out of time.
But we tried our best.
I never rest.
I keep the fire burning till the end.
Well,
Our food was not cooked.
But I can assure that even we enjoyed when we cook, but the fire goes on.

The inspection team checked our gadget first.
All of our gadget was like a piece of shit.
Our chair can't even stand for 10 seconds!
I feel so bad.
After so many days of hard work,
We had this kind of result.

Both of my advisor was super up sad.
Well, all I can say is,
My team have no experience and this was their first time.
I won't blame anyone.

The most important part is,
Our bond between each other was the strongest!
After striking the our camp,
I feel like dehydrated!
Badly dehydrated!

Good thing ken's patents bought us some cold 100 plus!

It was the prize giving time.
Zheng Feng, one of the senior supported us.
He was like screaming for our team,
So touching.

We won the best flag and best performance prize.
I won the best member prize.
Although we dint get the overall prize,
But it's satisfying.
I don't know why I can won the best member prize,
But I have to thank my team member for supporting,
My advisor for helping,
And all those seniors for voting.
Really, I never expected that.

After the camp, we went for dinner at time square.
I ask for a shi chuan noodles and it was damn spicy,
My tears keep dropping as I eat.
We chat around and pl talks about his love story again.
The waiter, Fu sheng, my friend suddenly come up and ask us whether there is anyone's birthday today.
I don't know my friend plan to celebrate birthday with me and I say no to him.
He was like what, no way, and go away in disbelieve.
Then after a while, shu rong went down to pay the bill.
She went up with a cake and they started to sang birthday song.
I was bewildered.
I follow them sang and waited for the name.
It wad me!
Wow! I dint expected that.
I thought that it's for someone because today was not my birthday.
Haha
So surprise and shock.
It's an early celebration!
so happy and touched!
The boss of that shop also treat us a bow of ice kachang.
We continued to chat and chat.
Chat until 8 something,
We paid our bill and went out.
Standing at the corridor and chat again.
Chat until 8.50pm something only went back to our car.
I drop jia mei, at her house and we chat inside my car again.
Finally,
We went back at 927pm as those girls can't go back late.

This is the best camp I ever join.
The friendship between us will be remember forever!
